Biography
Ms Dina Wilson is the Director of the Legal Services and Enforcement Department, General Counsel and Board Secretary of the Bermuda Monetary Authority. Ms Wilson has been an attorney for over 20 years, is a member of the Bermuda Bar Association and specialises in corporate law and regulation in Bermuda. She began her law career with the Bermuda law firm, Conyers, and thereafter, has been employed with the Authority within the Legal Services and Enforcement Department for over 15 years.
Ms Wilson is currently the Vice Chair of the International Association of Insurance Supervisor’s (IAIS) Signatories Working Group, which is the committee of the IAIS charged with and instrumental in, establishing international standards, best practices and policies regarding the manner in which regulatory signatories cooperate and assist one another with their statutory, supervisory mandates.
Dina holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Saint Mary’s University, Halifax N.S., a Master of Business Administration in Insurance from St John’s University, New York, and qualified to practice law after completing her studies at the College of Law, London.
